After gaining A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics I made the not so natural progression into studying Film and Television Production at University. Realising I spent the majority of my life outside education either watching, researching or talking about films I knew I wanted to pursue a career in that area.

 

Since completing my BA I've been working in the industry across a variety of roles. Straight out of University a friend and myself formed a small production company to facilitate corporate projects, whilst I also freelanced as a Camera Assistant on short and feature length drama projects. Since then I've worked as a Camera Operator, Shooting Producer/Director, in-house Video Production Manager and now as a Lighting Cameraman/Videographer.

 

I've worked on all sorts of project types including promos, web videos, short and feature drama, social media campaigns, events, internal training and communication and more.

Working in this field gives me the amazing opportunity to merge the technical with the creative, to be analytical and imaginative all at once.
